This month our special guests are three amazing Scottish songwriters Rosie Bans, Anna Mac, and Mike Nisbit! This is going to be a very special night full of witty banter and amazing songs! After seeing them on the Ginger w/ Attitude tour earlier in the year, I am so pleased to be able to hosting this amazing group of songwriters at Tower of Song!
Next Sunday the 19th, I’ll be sat in a row with these three fantastic songwriters at Tower of Song sharing our songs and stories with you! I’m very excited about this gig as it’s a first for me. As you know, I usually feature one act for my Lazy Sundays gigs, but wanted to start up something similar to the Bluebird North gigs that I used to love when I lived in Canada.
The first in the round gig that I attended was in MontreaI on February 19th, 2005! It featured Ron Sexsmith, Joel Plaskett, Blair Packham, Marc Dery, and Ginette Ahier! What a fantastic show. It was about more than just the music, but a feeling of connection between the artists and the audience through the stories they told about their songs. A wonderful night! I hope you’ll join us and make this yet another Lazy Sunday to remember! See you there!

Last night’s release gig at Tower of Song was amazing. We played with/for lovely folks, raised some money to go to The Voice Project, who are the official fund gatherers for the pussy riot campaign. Also last night at 11pm, Emily released the companion album on bandcamp which she has been curating over the last several months. 14 amazing tacks, including a song I wrote for the project, pay what you want…please go and get it! Lets keep our fingers crossed that the remaining members of Pussy Riot will be released before Christmas!
Much love and happiness to you this Christmas and New Year as always! See you soon! xoxoxLo.

On August 11th, I’m proud to announce that our Lazy Sunday artists will be The Black Feathers! We are so lucky to get them as they have quite a heavy touring schedule for the next few months. For those of you who haven’t heard them yet, they mix English Folk, Irish influences and bluegrass to create a beautiful sound of two voices and guitar that is reminiscent of The Civil Wars. I first heard them at the Rea River Roots night at Tower of Song and was blown away. Come and see them in a small listening venue while you still can! See you there! xo
